Mediumship and Psychic Readings

Mediumship focuses on communication with loved ones who have passed away. Psychic readings explore your present circumstances, relationships, career and possible paths ahead.

How I Experience Spirit Communication

During a mediumship session, I receive impressions through images in my mind, words, feelings and symbols. These may arrive briefly and unexpectedly, rather than as an ordinary conversation or a physical presence in the room.

My role is to interpret those impressions and share them with you. A detail may relate to a personality, a memory or something meaningful in your relationship with a loved one who has passed away. Sometimes its significance is clearer to you than it is to me.

I approach this work with compassion, discretion and care. Interpretation is a human process, and no particular connection or message can be guaranteed.

Verbier occupies its perch in the Valais Alps with the particular confidence of a place that has always attracted those who want more — more altitude, more challenge, more intensity, more freedom than the more conventional resorts of the region can provide. Positioned on a south-facing plateau above the Val de Bagnes at 1500 metres, with the resort's highest points extending to over 3300 metres and connecting into the vast Four Valleys system, Verbier combines the technical excellence of its terrain with a social atmosphere that is more youthful, more international and more energetically engaged than anywhere else in Switzerland. The private chalets of Verbier — built on the steep terrain that gives the resort its characteristic verticality — are among the most sought-after properties in the Alpine world. Their owners constitute a community that cuts across every industry and every nationality, united by the specific quality of appetite that Verbier has always attracted: for the mountains, for the freedom, for the particular pleasure of being in a place that demands the full engagement of the body and the attention. It is from this state of heightened physical and mental awareness — after the morning's first descent, in the warm interior of a chalet with the peaks still visible through the window — that many of Raphaël's Verbier clients find themselves most genuinely open to the kind of private reflection a consultation invites.

The Verbier chalet is an environment of intense contained pleasure — the warmth against the cold, the rest against the exertion, the privacy against the social energy of the resort. A private consultation by secure video is entirely consistent with this containment: it requires nothing from the ski day, nothing from the evening's social calendar, and nothing from the carefully managed rhythm of a chalet stay that may last only a week. Many of Raphaël's Verbier clients arrange their sessions for the morning of a rest day, or during the quieter hours of the afternoon when the mountain's physical demands have created a particular receptivity. The session fits within the architecture of a chalet week without disturbing any of its defining pleasures.

Verbier's client community is among the most internationally diverse in the Alps — a cross-section of British, American, Scandinavian, Middle Eastern, Asian and continental European professionals, entrepreneurs and private individuals whose one shared characteristic is a preference for engagement over ease. Raphaël's two decades of international practice have placed him in sustained contact with this community across multiple geographies, and his understanding of the specific combination of ambition, freedom and private depth that defines the Verbier spirit is both genuine and directly relevant to the consultations he conducts here. His broader engagement with the Alpine world — the rhythms of the ski season, the particular quality of reflection that mountain environments produce, the family and personal questions that a week at altitude has a way of surfacing — gives every Verbier consultation a specific contextual richness.

Verbier's development from a small farming hamlet to one of the world's most celebrated ski resorts happened with a rapidity that the village's original agricultural character could not have anticipated. The first ski lift arrived in 1950; by the 1970s, the resort had attracted the attention of the European and international community that would define its character for the following half-century. Today Verbier's permanent population of approximately three thousand is supplemented each winter by tens of thousands of visitors from across the world, many of whom return year after year to the same chalets, the same runs, the same friends in the same village at the same altitude. The Verbier Festival, which occupies the resort each August with one of the world's most significant classical music programmes, brings an entirely different community to the same landscape — musicians, conductors, audiences and the music lovers for whom the combination of high Alpine summer and exceptional musical performance represents a particular kind of perfection. This coexistence of the physical and the artistic, the exhilarating and the contemplative, is very much part of what makes Verbier interesting to those who know it well.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between mediumship and a psychic reading?

Mediumship sessions focus on communication with loved ones who have passed away. Psychic readings focus on your present circumstances, relationships, life direction and possible paths ahead. Let Raphaël know which focus matters to you.

Can I have a private consultation online?

Yes. Connect by an agreed video or telephone method from a quiet, private setting. These pages describe online consultations for clients in each destination, not a local office. Agree your appointment date, local time and connection method before the session.

Which languages are available?

Raphaël offers consultations in English, French and Spanish. Choose the language in which you feel most comfortable expressing yourself.

What should I prepare?

Choose a quiet setting and a reliable connection. You may bring questions or a focus for your session. After booking, follow the consultation questionnaire and preparation instructions provided.

Can a particular loved one or message be guaranteed?

No. A mediumship session cannot guarantee communication with a particular person, a specific message or a particular emotional outcome. Raphaël shares and interprets the impressions he receives with care.

Are private sessions and group readings the same?

No. A private consultation reserves one-to-one time with Raphaël. Group readings are separate ticketed events, with their own dates and prices when announced. An event ticket does not reserve a private consultation or guarantee an individual reading.
